April 18, 2017 By D Marie 1 Comment

By now you must know my affinity for Olympian Jeff Galloway; he is THE reason (well, with the runDisney alliance, of course) that I began running at the age of 53. HE is the number one reason I have gone injury-free for the past six years. (The physical therapy background is a distant second.) Watching yesterday's Boston Marathon got me motivated to move things to the next level. I am registered in the local Jeff Galloway Long Island Training Program and I'm ready to run. Which one of the following races will I be seeing YOU at?? JEFF'S … [Read more...]

January 4, 2017 By D Marie Leave a Comment

*  I received this product for review only because of my keen desire (and need) to explore the benefits of argan oil this winter!  Affiliate links are used in this post. Actually Organic Argan Oil (4.0 Fl. Oz.) It's officially winter! Ready to crack yet?  For me, once that heat starts pumping, my skin gets un-plumping.  As I spend more time training outdoors (Princess Half Marathon Weekend approaches), I expect to shrivel up entirely. I confess.  I jumped at the chance to try Actually Organic Argan Oil.  Just what the … [Read more...]

CHOC Walk in the Park Presented by Disneyland

October 12, 2016 By D Marie 2 Comments

CHOC Walk in the Park Presented by Disneyland On Sunday, October 30, 2016, the Disneyland Resort once again opens its arms to support these children most in need.  Since its inception in 1990, the CHOC Walk has raised over $26 million for … [Read more...]
