Viva La Hacienda de San Angel

January 22, 2013 By D Marie 28 Comments

I love La Hacienda de San Angel.  I don’t know if it is purely the food,

 the art,

the architecture or simply the Blood Orange Margaritas.  Maybe it’s that world class view of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

Great shots! We still haven't visited La Hacienda de San Angel. I think I need to fix that. A blood orange margarita sounds great!

Melissa, the only down side is that I've yet forced myself to try another yummy margarita variety! (Maybe a Margarita Flight is in order…)

We find the food here head and shoulders above San Angel Inn (though we do miss that volcano…). 🙂

We are eating here for the first time on our next trip! My parents are taking the kids for the night, so Pierre and I will be having our date night here. We made our ADR for 8:30 in hopes of having a great view of Illuminations!

You are right Mary- it has it all. (No wonder I've heard rumors about another shoreline restaurant in Morocco!)

We've been here multiple times and do love the food, margaritas, and prime location for Illuminations! However, they are always running behind at dinner. We've waited upwards to 30-45 mins with an ADR! We also had quite a fiasco for our lg party of 16 in November (even having a 180 day ADR). I would not recommend this place for a big group!

Oh no! We've been three times and never had a substantial wait. (In fact, when I dined solo, they sat me 20 minutes early!) Oh, the luck of the draw (and crowds). Good thing we love it so Sarah!
