Sights From Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

November 5, 2013 By D Marie 32 Comments

I’m going to break my own rule and jump holidays.  I’m sorry.  Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off this Friday night, and I wish I could be there. Instead, I’ll share my “Holiday Wishes” with you!

Decoration and snow on Main Street, U.S.A..

Complimentary Holiday Cookies, Hot Chocolate and healthy snacks!

Not so healthy approach.

Awaiting Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

Mickey and Minnie in holiday (blurry) finery.

A shot of Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season from the California Grill.

We wish you and yours the joy of the season; (that’s Thanksgiving AND Christmas)!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets start at $62.  For event dates and purchasing click here.  New this year will be a Celebrate the Magic! castle projection show and Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season with “Glow with the Show” enhancement.

And the first-ever Walt Disney World attraction holiday transformation comes to the Jungle Cruise; brand new decorations, jolly but still corny one-liners and tunes add to the Jingle Cruise good cheer.  I do believe I may prefer Santa hats on my Skippers!  Ho, ho, ho party goers!!

Isn't it spectacular? It is worth a holiday trip JUST to see the Castle Dream Lights!!

Unless it's seeing Sleeping Beauty Castle lit up at one end with the Candlelight Processional at the other end-such a great holiday feel in your pictures-definitely on my Wish List to experience you Christmas Time Magic!

Well then we must do a "Holiday Swap" one year. I've never been to Disneyland at Christmas either!

I will be seeing all of the holiday finery for the first time next month! I can't believe I can now say "next month" as we've been counting down to this trip for what seems like FOREVER! LOL Thanks for the sneak peek at so much of what we have to look forward to. You are so beautiful!

Heid, I am so excited for you! It really is the "most wonderful time of the year" at Walt Disney World; so many novel things to see. I'm very glad your wait is coming to an end- it will have been SO worth it!!!

I would absolutely love to see Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! We have seen the decorations up and the castle light up, but the party is definitely on our list of things we HAVE to do! The park just looks so beautiful.

Yes- we'll be in WDW in early January too! Though there won't be a party, I'm looking forward to seeing many of the decorations that will still be up. I guess we can't have it all. (At least not ALL the time!)

The Castle Dream Lights were on our Disney Bucket "Billboard" Jackie, and I must admit it felt good to cross that one off! (And we're HOPING they will still be up in January!)

Love all of your MVMCP photos! I've been twice, the last was Thanksgiving of 2012. Feels like yesterday… One of my favorite party things is to close down MK that night. The queues get insanely short after the 2nd parade!
