I’m going to break my own rule and jump holidays. I’m sorry. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off this Friday night, and I wish I could be there. Instead, I’ll share my “Holiday Wishes” with you!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets start at $62. For event dates and purchasing click here. New this year will be a Celebrate the Magic! castle projection show and Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season with “Glow with the Show” enhancement.
And the first-ever Walt Disney World attraction holiday transformation comes to the Jungle Cruise; brand new decorations, jolly but still corny one-liners and tunes add to the Jingle Cruise good cheer. I do believe I may prefer Santa hats on my Skippers! Ho, ho, ho party goers!!

There's NOTHING like seeing Cinderella Castle lit up with icicles! 🙂
Isn't it spectacular? It is worth a holiday trip JUST to see the Castle Dream Lights!!
Unless it's seeing Sleeping Beauty Castle lit up at one end with the Candlelight Processional at the other end-such a great holiday feel in your pictures-definitely on my Wish List to experience you Christmas Time Magic!
Well then we must do a "Holiday Swap" one year. I've never been to Disneyland at Christmas either!
I will be seeing all of the holiday finery for the first time next month! I can't believe I can now say "next month" as we've been counting down to this trip for what seems like FOREVER! LOL Thanks for the sneak peek at so much of what we have to look forward to. You are so beautiful!
Heid, I am so excited for you! It really is the "most wonderful time of the year" at Walt Disney World; so many novel things to see. I'm very glad your wait is coming to an end- it will have been SO worth it!!!
I am there Friday night!!!!!! Now I need to take my glow with the show ears! I am so excited.
Then you will have a drooler here Julie! Will keep an eye out for your photos. Have a very merry!
I LOVE the Christmas Party. We'll be going to a party in December. I hope I can be patient! Great shots. I like partaking in the non-healthy approach too. 🙂
Oh Melissa- that's wonderful news! Now YOUR photos will be something to see!! (And I'll tell the hubster he's not alone. :D)
I love celebrating all the holidays but Christmas time is the best! Cocoa and cookies are such a perfect pick me up at MVMCP!!
Yes Deb- even on the warmest of nights, hot chocolate at Walt Disney World sets the mood and hits the spot!!
I would absolutely love to see Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! We have seen the decorations up and the castle light up, but the party is definitely on our list of things we HAVE to do! The park just looks so beautiful.
Oh, it is so merry and full of wonder Beth. So sad we'll both miss it this year. (We want it all, don't we??!)
Now you are just showing off with where you stood for the parade! Jealous us an understatement.
And it was the first time we watching ANY parade from the Walt Disney World Railroad Main Street U.S.A. Station Mary! (I will add that we didn't get "snowed" on though…)
I love the MVMCP – great shots of you and your family, looks like it was a great time 🙂
Thank goodness for Disney Time!!
We've been to WDW right after christmas, but never for MVMCP. Thanks for sharing these great pics!! A wonderful holiday season to you and yours!
Yes- we'll be in WDW in early January too! Though there won't be a party, I'm looking forward to seeing many of the decorations that will still be up. I guess we can't have it all. (At least not ALL the time!)
I love the festive pictures here. I wish they had a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on this side of the coast. It looks so fun! You make me want to go! Thanks for sharing these!
But Disneyland has so many amazing Holiday specials… (What do they say about the grass being greener on the other coast?? :D)
So pretty! I hope I can make it there one year for this! Love these shots and don't worry, with Disney it's totally ok to holiday hop! 😛
Thank you Onna, we will follow their lead! Happy Holidays!!
Love the party and I go the unhealthy route as well, love them cookies. The decorations really are impressive this time of year. Thanks for sharing!
I have to admit that apple slices don't say "Christmas party" quite like hot chocolate and cookies,,, 😀
I went to this Party for the first time last year and absolutely loved it! My family has never been and they'd just love it so I'm hoping we'll get to go this year. Those Dreamlights are gorgeous!
The Castle Dream Lights were on our Disney Bucket "Billboard" Jackie, and I must admit it felt good to cross that one off! (And we're HOPING they will still be up in January!)
I love this party! We went several years ago and it's truly magical!!
It is Beth; don't you wish you could go every year??
Love all of your MVMCP photos! I've been twice, the last was Thanksgiving of 2012. Feels like yesterday… One of my favorite party things is to close down MK that night. The queues get insanely short after the 2nd parade!
Walking down an empty Main Street U.S.A., surrounded by Christmas decorations, is priceless!!
