Scenes From Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend

July 9, 2014 By D Marie 14 Comments

It’s Annual Passholder and DVC early registration time for Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend.  (Registration for all begins Tuesday, July 15th at Noon EST.)  Has your tiara tarnished?  Are you debating breaking in your glass slippers for the very first time?  Is it your time at the ball?  How about some regal enticement…

Pick up your bib, your Dooney and other goodies at Disney’s Fit for a Princess Expo.
The regal course!
Disney Characters hold court.
Thrilled to run with presenting charity Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Unfortunately, the charity placed all of its runners in the last corral!  (I thought it was great fun.)  They have promised not to let this happen again this year.  😀
At that crack of dawn.
Royal anticipation!
Storming the castle.  (Well, back of the pack sauntering perhaps.)
Every princess deserves her moment of glory.  (And due to multiple photographers in this prime location, the wait is never very long!)
It’s early.  And sometimes foggy.

The most glorious sound at Mile 13- strains of the Gospel Choir lead you home…

Can you hear the angels now?  Noon today EST.  Be there; your DVC and AP Member Pages await.

Hi April- be advised: there are very few perfect bodies or perfect runners out there on a runDisney course. We outnumber the elites by a mile! Maybe you should consider walking one of their 5Ks? You'll never look back!!!
