Hi George- this is from the WDW Flower Mart on West Center Street (and DL had the same). Sadly, the 2001 Emporium expansion took away the beautiful (plastic) flowers! Do tell us more about Flower Street…:D
Oh, these are great photos!! I may have to raid my mom's scrapbooks for some older photos. I have a few from Disney in 1971 on my "about" page – my uncle sold popcorn on Main Street when the park first opened.
WOW … did THAT ever take me back!? My very first trip as a kid (but in 1983) we stayed here. Boy, do I need to dig out the old albums in my parents basement and find a few treasures like this!!!
These are so great! I love it!
Thanks Beth- I just love to recycle!!
Oh what great pictures!! I love seeing all the people on the beach and the luau show!! Keep em' coming I love these!
Thanks Deb- I think I remember a photo of YOU in those same flowers at some point!! 😀
That first picture is from Flower Street, right?

Yes, and more and more it seems that I am "retrospective". (old)
They are great pictures, I love seeing what was once there and how people have been enjoying the resorts for years
Diane- I agree. That's when it hits home for me too!!
