WHAT’S UP IN PARIS

Pixar soundtrack fans delighted in a unique performance in Paris’s Palais des Congrès on June 22nd, 2014. 83 musicians of the Sinfornia Pop Orchestra (conducted by Constantin Routis), performed Pixar en Concert for 3,500 lucky guests. Included in the audience were 500 sick or disadvantaged children who were sponsored by the production.
During the 2 hour show, we had the pleasure to listen to masterpieces written by composers Randy Newman, Thomas Newman, Michael Giacchino and Patrick Doyle.
The audience was charmed by the lovely symphonies, played in the best acoustical theater in Paris. As the concert began, Walt Disney-themed music led up to the wonderful world of Pixar, and its first feature film, Toy Story. The French audience was particularly enthusiastic when hearing the music of Ratatouille!
