Disney Dreams- A Photo Exposé

July 4, 2012 By D Marie 6 Comments

One of the special bonuses of the recent 20 Days to 20 Years blogger series celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris was the opportunity to bond with our Disney blogger brethren “across the pond”.  No matter our language or cultural backgrounds, we have so much in common- in particular a love for all things Disney!  Luckily, this sharing of passions leads us to today’s post.  Across America we have celebrated our Independence Day with lights in the sky.  I am honored to welcome guest blogger and French photographer (and Disneyland Paris fan extraordinaire) Patrick, (@Pippin1964) who will give us a glimpse into the fireworks and special effects from Disney Dreams.

For the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, the park decide to close the day, everyday, with a nocturnal show : Disney Dreams. It’s exceptional, because the other year, we had a show only for the summer.

This show is a story about the adventure of Peter Pan and his shadow (which escaped again)…, but the main things are not on the story, but how Disneyland Paris tells it. The show is based on the latest technologies of laser, color water, pictures projected on wall water, and on the Sleeping Beauty Castle, fireworks. You can also ear the songs of the Classic Disney Movies (Beauty & the Beast, Marry Poppins, Tangled…). All of these ingredients make a Disney magic alchemy which brings you to a dream during 30 minutes, and a dream which is hard to quit after. I saw the show 6 times, and at every time, the eyes of the ladies, the gentlemen, the boys and the girls are shining facing this magical and wonderful show. It’s now, it’s in Disneyland Paris, and you have not to miss it.

Want to see some additional pictures of the show?
Best Regards / Cordialement.

Isn’t Patrick’s work breathtaking?  I encourage you to visit his album to further appreciate the beauty and spectacular of this latest Disney show creation.  It’s the next best thing to being transported there!!  Merci beaucoup!
