I believe magic must be a synonym for “Cast Member”. Would you agree? After 41 years of experiencing Disney Parks pixie dust, my family has witnessed so many random acts of kindness from these folks that it is difficult to highlight just one. So instead, I’ve chosen a montage of those faces, those magic-makers, that stand out in the crowd.
They help you tuck in your chair, and put a big smile on your face. (Whispering Canyon Cafe)
They call your husband out for bad manners and put a smile on your wife’s face. (Whispering Canyon Cafe)
Our balloon artist entertains when the kids are starting to doze off on New Year’s Eve. (Narcoossee’s)
He springs to life, the day is saved! (Narcoossee’s)
Hold the boat! (World Showcase Lagoon)
Guitar Hero bro stand-ins. (The defunct Tomorrowland Arcade)
They sing to you on your birthday- in French- because you have a test on that when you get back to school. (Chefs de France)
At Disney’s Fit for a Princess Expo, the Fairy Godmothers will coat you in pixie dust for luck It worked!
Hold the train! (Disneyland Railroad)
Ultimate patience with the new menu and sloooooooow guests… (Be Our Guest Restaurant)
If you smile pretty, ask nicely, and get a gem of a server, you’ll learn how to make one of these-
Now MY guests are so impressed.
|This shot makes my heart go pitter patter every time I see it. (Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa)
Whether a smile when you need it most, an unexpected accommodation for a special child, or those famous towel animals (thank you Mousekeeping!), I can’t imagine a Disney vacation without the folks who are always on stage. Take a bow Disney cast members; bravo!
