Nothing Beats Running at Disney, Unless it’s runDisney With a Cause

December 1, 2011 By D Marie 2 Comments

The wind in your hair, the clearing of your mind, peace and quiet– trust me, running can get under your skin.  If you are training for a runDisney event, you have added incentive.  Imagine parlaying all that personal good into something truly meaningful for the greater good.  Each runDisney event has a beneficiary; a charity that will be highlighted both for raising awareness and accepting monetary donations.  (For instance, October’s Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon and the upcoming Walt Disney World Marathon Weekends both give a platform to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.)  However, registering with one of runDisney’s Official Charity Groups offers team members benefits that cannot be put into words.
