It seems to make the world go ’round. Social media, in all its various forms, bridges time zones, nationalities and lifestyles. It sometimes creates unlikely bedfellows, but emphasizes our commonality. In lieu of developing relationships based on age, outward appearances or other superficial metrics, we IM, chat on Facebook, Skype, “hangout” on Google+ and well, the platforms multiply by the day. It’s all good until you actually meet in the flesh; and then it’s GREAT.
My slice of social media goodness with its own Disney “On-the-Road” board.
Be careful where you shop girls.
Tweeting and eating and eating and tweeting.
At long last!

Watch out world- I’m ready to Vine, almost done updating my blog, and attempting to fill in my social media blanks. I promise to follow, Like, and RT those in my small world. Call Message me…
So thankful to have Social Media in my life because without it, I would have never met you and all the other members of my Disney family!
I completely agree Gayle- it's been a privilege!!
Wow – you are a social media maven! π
Pretty far short of that, but I do love meeting those "handles" in the flesh!!
Great photos of your awesome self with some pretty awesome people. π
Not so awesome that we don't have a pic together. (August will fix that!!)
Great shots, love to see all the smiling faces. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks- the smiles are by far the best part!!
Very well said! Your pictures are great examples of how wonderful our "virtual" relationships are π Thanks for sharing this week!
Yes Holly, and virtual soon = REAL!! Hope to meet YOU one day!
<3 I love your blog so much. Can't wait to see more!
Stop by any time Patty- the coffee's always hot!

Would love that!

And I love how YOU bring us all together. Great topic this week Deb; thanks so much for hosting this most successful Disney Blog Hop year after year!!
Loved meeting you and everyone else, Great pics and seeing all the faces. Love my social media π lol
And we can tell. π
What a lovely sentiment! I never thought about how social media builds friendships, oblivious to superficial trappings we otherwise tend to be guided by. I love it! And it's really true (from my limited experience) that you feel an instant bond when meeting a fellow Disney lover. Awesome!
You are always my true runDisney inspiration, so you will be the first to know if I can tackle that one of these days – and maybe we can finally meet. π
Say that word kid! Let's aim for the stars and say we'll run together at next year's Disney Social Media Moms Event. hee hee
So sad that I missed meeting you at the NYC event. I was invited, but no matter what I tried was unable to swing it with the end of the school year. Great photos of a lot of people I have met.
Beth, that would have been perfect! Maybe another event one day?? (Hope!)
Fabulous pics! I can't wait for the day I get to meet you in person too! π
And how is it possible that it has not yet happened?? I think I'll just miss you again this fall. π
Thanks for sharing all of your Social Media memories! Hope to get to meet you someday since you are our NY neighbor!
Absolutely- even if it means meeting in Orlando… π
What a great post!!
Thank you Brenda!
How lucky for you to have met some people online in real life. It's one of the great things about social media. I cat get overwhelming but some of the relationships formed are priceless.
I do feel lucky Mary!!
How awesome you have had the chance to meet so many Social Media peeps Didi! That is my dream to meet all of you IRL someday π Thanks for sharing all these great photos and memories!
Suz
