Glow with the Show Nighttime Magic

August 15, 2012 By D Marie 22 Comments

Some bits of novel (so far) Disneyland Resort magic.  Our extended family bought one pair ($25) of Glow with the Show Ears at Disney California Adventure Park in July, and oh the fun we had passing them around!  During World of Color at Paradise Bay and Mad T Party in Hollywood Land, our boys were flashing away to the music and lights; young and old.  It was recently announced that these colorful beauties will be embellishing Disneyland’s Fantasmic! soon.  Who knows?  This brand of magic might just make its way to Orlando one day (night)…  Hold onto your ears!!

I love the Glow with the Show ears, but we have a rule in our family that we don't buy anymore ears (We have enough!). I'm going to need a really good excuse to bend the rules and pick up a pair of these beauties.

Steve, I fully understand! I must say that it had been quite some years since we purchased a pair, but the entertainment value of these was worth the $25. I imagine that as they add locations/applications, these will evolve and might just turn into our next "pin" collection!

Yes- I must say there weren't quite as many folks flashing the night we were there, but it is quite the sight!

I would LOVE to see World of Color some day. Watched it via live stream when it opened, but just not the same as live and in person.

It is pretty Lucinda; not a Fantasmic!, mind you, but a worth-see. I especially liked that they update it, and featured Brave music and images when we saw it last.

The World of Color is one of our favorite shows. We saw the ears all lit up but my kids didn't want to give up their ears. I may need to get one of these for hubby and me 🙂
