In 1989, my groom and I celebrated our honeymoon with a toast overlooking the Magic Kingdom. As we sat in the lounge at Top of the World on the 15th floor of the Contemporary Resort, there was much to drink in. It was his first visit to Walt Disney World, a completely new beginning for us both, and we had some wishing to do. Would we ever return? With or without children? Would my Disney passion be infectious? What if we were to raise a family of Universal Studios lovers??? Ahhh, to own a crystal ball…
23 years later, we sat in that very same spot; alone in Walt Disney World for the first time since. This past November we toasted over 2 decades of Disney experiences we would not have been able to dream possible; first birthdays, family Christmases, graduations and yes, half marathons. We made additional wishes while watching Holiday Wishes and hoped for a happily ever after. And we toasted the California Grill- until we meet again.
Congratulations on your anniversary! We also went on our honeymoon to Walt Disney World. Our 10th anniversary trip had to be changed thanks to weather, but we look forward to another couples adventure one day.

Happy Anniversary you two! 23 years is definitely a great testament to "Disney Love". I hope plans are well underway for the big 25 year celebration that's coming up soon. I also hope that dessert was anywhere near as good as it looks.

California Grill looks fantastic and I've heard such amazing things – I'm disappointed I won't be able to try it before the refurb, but hopefully it is just as good afterward! Happy Anniversary!
