Get your snacks, on Route 66!!
“C” is for Sally’s Cozy Cone Motel in Disney California Adventure’s Radiator Springs. This eatery is based on the Disney Pixar Cars films and inspired by the iconic Wigwam Motel. (Seven such motels were built in the 1930’s and 1940’s, with three still in existence today; two of these sit along on Route 66.) In Cars Land, this spot literally cannot be missed! Which explains why I spent so much time idling here… I’ve included my favorite fuel from each cone:

| As anticipated, the Chili Cone Queso is the way to go. |

| Like those Pretzel Bites, these Churro Bites just taste better because they are nuggets- and finger food rocks. |
Boy, did I have a full tank!! (Luckily, I kicked up my RPM’s the next morning with a run through Downtown Disney District.) On my next trip, I’m driving for Red’s Apple Freeze, (I’ve read that it’s Disneyland’s answer to Butterbeer), and the Bacon and Cheddar Popcorn. Be sure to put the orange Cozy Cones on your map!

Great pictures! I'm making the Cozy Cone one of my first stops when I get to DCA in 2 weeks π
So excited for you- #goodoledays!!
So cool! I want to see these in person. Thanks for sharing!
I know you will!
Neat fact about the Wigwam Hotel! I learned something this morning! π
Thanks V- I know I did!
I love your photos! I can't wait to see it in person and get some pretzel bites. π
Great choice!! π
Oh goodness! There's a cone for for every craving! Very cool. :o)
Isn't that devious?! π
I'm glad they used the Cone so heavily in the park, would have loved to stay in a cozy cone π Thanks for sharing!
Me too! We may have to check out the one in San Bernadino on our next trip to California!! (Wouldn't that be cool??)
Looks like it was so much fun!! I am very jealous…and suddenly very hungry!!
Doesn't Disney do hunger well?!
So jealous!! I'd love to visit CARSland!! π
I know you will- honestly it exceeded our expectations. Just be careful, it's addicting!
What an adventure you had! I'd love to see Carsland! Could go for a "Route" Beer Float too! Yum!
Thanks so much for sharing and for joining in on the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop fun!!
Thanks Deb- I hadn't had a float in about 30 years. I'm so glad I waited!!
Love it! Hoping to venture to DL in '13!
Fantastic Jodi! Enjoy every minute of the Disney planning!! (You must check out the interactive element on the Disneyland website!!)
Great photos! All the pics that I have seen from Cars Land so far make it look like so much fun – just might have to make another trip to California!
I know, we can't wait to go back too!
I wanna go to Disney Land!! We are staying at the Art of Animation in September – I think I'll have to go and check out the cozy cones when I am there π
And there are so many reasons to go now. They have truly transformed that resort in the past 5 years… Can't wait to hear about your Art of Animation experience!
Finger Foods DO rock – and so does this post! π
I relate so well to fellow food lovers … what fun to see the snack options in new Cars land!!
I agree- food should be tasty AND fun! Disney does both so well. π
Love, love, love the photos from Cars Land. Can not wait to get back out west one day. My boys got a cone the other day and called it for their Cars.
That's adorable Beth! I regret not getting a beverage in their orange cone "mugs"; when you do go, be sure the boys get one (or two) of those! π
These are great and those Cones are cool! We can't wait to visit Cars Land once our Disney pass blackout dates have been lifted π I would have a hard time deciding where to go first but those churro bites sound so yummy.
Mary- I bet you can just "taste" it π At least once the black out is over, you know you can go back over and over until you've hit it all!
Ahh, the Cozy Cone snacks, I love that area. We always get the seasoned popcorn and a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar there. (Dawn Cullo)
Dawn, finishing one of every kind of Cozy Cone snack is becoming a quest for me; oh no, I haven't tried the seasoned popcorn yet. Need!! π
Yum! I think my husband and I will have to alternate on this one, but I can't wait to sample!
Rosanne @ The Disney Point
So happy that before long you will see it for yourself Rosanne!!
