When You Wish – The Story of Walt Disney Premieres at Phoenix Theatre

May 12, 2016 By D Marie Leave a Comment

Become part of the magic when the Walt Disney story comes to life in a new musical production this May.  "Fascinated with possibility and armed with childlike ingenuity," our favorite genius continues to allow us all to wish upon our favorite star.  Though the world premiere opens in Phoenix, Arizona, I know we are wishing that this production takes it on the road! Mojito In Paradise | The Cove Bar at Disney California Adventure

April 28, 2016 By D Marie 9 Comments

Nestled into the corner behind Ariel's Grotto, this recently expanded alfresco lounge is now less the "hideaway" it once was, but the views, cocktails, and nibbles make this spot a real splash. Located on Paradise Pier, the views from the Cove Bar are the perfect compliment to your beverage of choice. (And the squeals from California Screamin' are equally entertaining.) Toast! Completing a Challenge Race with Jeff Galloway’s Run Walk Run Method

February 20, 2016 By D Marie 3 Comments

Never say never. Even as an oldster, I made the mistake of uttering "I could never do a back-to-back endurance race." Those Goofy and then Dopey folks that started the craze were my idols, but not my running role models; NOT for me.  Then came the Dumbo Double Dare.  And then the Glass Slipper Challenge.  And the Rebel Challenge, Pixie Dust Challenge, Infinity Gauntlet Challenge...  you get the idea.  How much resistance can one runDisney fan mount?  I'm only human!  So I finally bit at the inaugural Star Wars … [Read more...]
