August and the Inaugural Disneyland® 10K can’t come quickly enough!!
We have only been to Disneyland once so I didn't know about most of these. The Davy Crockett Explorer Canoe looks great!
Yes Lisa. 🙂 Believe it or else, I remember the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes paddling along Frontierland in Walt Disney World in 1972! It closed there in 1994, so it was nice to see the original still in operation!!
Now we're talking my language-my home of Disneyland! I can just hear the guides in the canoes telling us all to paddle and the pool at the Disneyland Hotel-not to be missed! Thanks for sharing my Happiest Place on Earth-can't wait to be back there in a few weeks!

Ha! This is the only guest-driven attraction in Disneyland, so I do wonder… We had a blast Michaelyn!!
Those canoes have not been open when we have been to DL…oh well the price you pay for low crowds. Love all you pictures…I need to go to DL again!
We were so happy that we finally had the opportunity to give the canoes a spin; such fun with a big group. Beware of splashing husbands!
Wow! These are great and really highlight the differences between the two. So much more to experience there thant I thought!! I have always wanted to do the canoes.

Makes me want to visit Disneyland! It is definitely on the list. We are east coasters and closer to WDW, but I really want to see where it all started. Beautiful pics!
You can literally FEEL Walt's presence at Disneyland. Walt Disney World will always be "home", but Disneyland is very, very special!
I love seeing the contrast of Disneyland and Disney World. Makes me really want to see Disneyland! I remember the canoes from WDW! I had no idea DL still had them! What fun pictures!!

Thanks Sandra! We have APs to Walt Disney World too, so I know it's a bit tough to pay for park tickets at Disneyland. After I hit that lottery I'll be investing in the Disney Premier Passport!! 😉
Is there still a laser show on It's a Small World? We loved that, too bad if it's gone.
I know the projection show is gone, but didn't believe it was replaced. I'll let you know!!

Diane, the Davy Crockett Canoes made for the perfect extended family event. The 8 of us splashed, rowed and sang our way along the Rivers of America. What a ball!!
We have yet to see the Mad T Party but love all the Disneyland shots.That's a great shot of the canoe. Happy summer!
