A Disney Summer~ California Style!

June 19, 2013 By D Marie 38 Comments

Water “sports”~

Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes (You will get wet!)
Disneyland Hotel Monorail Slides
(Make sure you get soaked!)
Cool off without getting wet.
The “great outdoors”~
Al fresco dining is pleasant; even midday!
Enjoy a mobile dance party; Phineas and Ferb’s Rockin’ Rollin’, to be exact.
Those summer nights~
Mad T Party.  It’s an outdoor concert!
Chill by the fire when the lights go down…  (Disneyland Hotel)
SO colorful!  (World of Color, that is.)
The Magic, the Memories, and You!  (Gone but not forgotten.)
August and the Inaugural Disneylandยฎ 10K can’t come quickly enough!!

We have only been to Disneyland once so I didn't know about most of these. The Davy Crockett Explorer Canoe looks great!

Yes Lisa. ๐Ÿ™‚ Believe it or else, I remember the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes paddling along Frontierland in Walt Disney World in 1972! It closed there in 1994, so it was nice to see the original still in operation!!

Now we're talking my language-my home of Disneyland! I can just hear the guides in the canoes telling us all to paddle and the pool at the Disneyland Hotel-not to be missed! Thanks for sharing my Happiest Place on Earth-can't wait to be back there in a few weeks!

We were so happy that we finally had the opportunity to give the canoes a spin; such fun with a big group. Beware of splashing husbands!

You can literally FEEL Walt's presence at Disneyland. Walt Disney World will always be "home", but Disneyland is very, very special!

Thanks Sandra! We have APs to Walt Disney World too, so I know it's a bit tough to pay for park tickets at Disneyland. After I hit that lottery I'll be investing in the Disney Premier Passport!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
