Before the parade… passes by…
Grab your spot at Disneyland Resort’s Carnation Cafe; my family’s favorite people watching, band listening and parade spot to be.  From the comfort of your outdoor table, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner and watch the local talent without ever leaving your cushy seat and candy-striped umbrella.

Be sure to make reservations, and request an outdoor table. Oh, and tap your feet and clap your hands.

I will remember this place for when I finally get to disneyland. Thanks!
Will you be registering for Dumbo Double Dare today??!
Great tip! That is the perfect spot – delicious food and spectacular view!
Thanks Beth! Sometimes we need comfort with our parades!!
I love this idea! My little guy doesn't quite have the attention span for an entire parade so adding treats to the experience may get him through!
It would b perfect for him Audrey! You could arrive for dinner at 6ish, and hopefully be set for Mickey's Soundsational Parade at 7 pm!
The Carnation Cafe is definitely on my list for next time, that's a great tip. And those pancakes – yum !!
Oh my gosh, I love this restaurant! (And those pancakes are actually semi-healthy!!!)
Love the Drum Major Mickey! Love, love, love!
Wasn't he spectacular in his band garb? That happened by coincidence during our breakfast there in September. You never know WHAT will come marching by!
Now that's the practically perfect way to watch a parade! Love your picture of Mickey!!
Thanks Deb- curbside Main Street is still a must-do, but this is a way to do watch without fighting crowds and/or someone jumping in front of you!
At first I was like wow, great idea on a spot to watch the parade. Then I was like awesome pictures. Then you had to throw in that last one and I was like Oh my Gosh Darn I need to try those pancakes. Thanks for stimulating all the senses today!
😀 Thanks Sean- I guess I did save the best for last!
Mickey looks so cute with the band!
Doesn't he?! He doesn't usually perform with the Disneyland Band, but it was part of a special celebration for Labor Day. He was such a hit!!
I am watching Hello Dolly this morning! LOL. I love your photos, so colorful and Mickey is adorable as Harold Hill…. 🙂 Love these.
Yes- it certainly is reminiscent Julie; the only thing missing in my mind is WALL-E!!
Great tip! Hoping to finally plan a family trip to Disneyland this summer, and will put this on the planning list! Oh, and those pancakes look amazing!
Parade or not, you simply MUST grab breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Carnation Cafe. There is something indescribable about eating ON Main Street U.S.A.!! (Just be sure to get a reservation. :D)
