My crew revisits this oasis in Walt Disney World Resort as often as we can; to celebrate a Grand New Year’s Eve, to rekindle Romance on Seven Seas Lagoon, and now, to raise a toast or two to the magic with a dear friend. We just love the everyday brunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe, but this is … special. Narcoossee’s Sunday Waterfront Brunch is the latest reason (excuse) to chart a course to this serene and beautiful restaurant sitting across from the always-bustling Magic Kingdom.
Narcoossee’s Sunday Brunch
Offered on Sundays from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm, brunch could easily be your breakfast lunch and dinner! The high-end menu options, combined with substantial portion sizes make this destination distinctly unique; finally, a dining venue that has both a stellar view and cuisine to match.

Specialty Beverage
The Prosecco, Mimosas, and non-alcoholic Smoothies are delicious, though what you would normally expect from a brunch. However, the Signature Bloody Mary is in a class by itself. It is essentially a meal (complete with every food group) in a tall glass. I hadn’t had a Bloody Mary in decades, and I think this was the one I was holding out for; a celery stalk, a King Crab claw, a gigantic shrimp, smoked bacon, and a blue cheese-stuffed olive. Though it was a bit spicy for my taste buds (I will certainly be correcting that on my next visit) it was spectacular. You simply must try one for yourself. Though a solitary Signature Bloody Mary is included in your price, multiples of the other choices can be served! As always, drink responsibly…

PLEASE do not eat every one of your served breakfast pastries and muffins. You WILL want to sample each, as they are far better than the norm. You MUST leave room for the three stellar courses to come!
Appetizers
OK, I’m New York City born and bred, but the Shrimp and Grits (Creamy Antebellum Grits, Green Tomato Chow-chow, and Cherrywood Bacon) were by far the best I have ever had. You would think I had had enough of those jumbo shrimp and bacon after my Specialty Beverage, but honestly, I just needed more. The grits were oh-so-creamy and rich in flavor. Honestly, I could have pushed away from the table before I ever looked at my entree.

Entrees
This part of the Narcoossee’s Sunday Brunch menu was a foodie’s delight; there wasn’t a single miss on the list. The perfect balance of breakfast and lunch items, I wanted them all!

Yes, those are giant chunks of lobster.

The accompaniments for the Cage Free Brown Eggs were not the typical and ho-hum, and included Butter-poached Lobster, Chorizo, and Tofu. It was Chorizo, Carmelized Onions, and Gruyere Cheese for me!

The mentioned Valencia Blood Orange Bar, Triple Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Blueberry Timbale came with a whimsical addition- a solid white chocolate Minnie Mouse!!
I’m sorry Minnie- too many years chomping off those chocolate Easter Bunny ears!
Notes
Tables in Wonderland and Annual Passholder discounts do apply. This Signature Dining destination requires two table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan.
The price? No, $69 for Adults and $41 for Children 3-9 is far from cheap, but the quantity and quality of the food made it a fairly-priced splurge. However, if you factor in the meal of a Signature Bloody Mary AND/or the unlimited Prosecco and Mimosas, I promise you will leave believing that you have a found a STEAL on Walt Disney World Resort property. (I know I did!!!)
This looks divine! We're heading back to WDW for marathon weekend. I think we might need to add this to our plans. 🙂
Oh you should Melissa- I'll be rooting for both!! 😉
Great post Didi! I'm not certain that the selections are up my alley — I've got very PICKY tastes — but they do look good for those that like those sorts of things! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for "perusing" Mike!
I have been wanting to do this! I'm always at Disney for race weekends it seems and running a half marathon on Sunday morning instead of eating brunch 😉 Maybe for my anniversary trip! So do they take the dining plan here?
